Marafiki Safari Lodge (“we” or “us”) is committed to providing our guests with the best possible experience. We understand that sometimes plans change, and therefore offer a fair and transparent refund policy.
Standard Cancellations:
For cancellations, our refund policy varies depending on the time of cancellation:
- More than 30 days prior to arrival: You will receive a 50% refund.
- Less than 30 days prior to arrival: No refund will be issued.
- In the event that your order is non-refundable, this will be made clear during the checkout process and listed in your email order confirmation.

Exceptions:
Please note that the following exceptions may apply to our refund policy:
- Non-refundable rates: Some special promotions or packages may have specific non-refundable policies. Please carefully review the terms of your booking before confirming.
- Force majeure: We will not be able to offer refunds for cancellations due to events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or political unrest.
Refunds:
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving your cancellation request. We will refund the amount paid to your original payment method.
Personal Information Protection:
We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa. We will only use the information you provide for processing your booking and refund, and will not share it with any third party without your consent.
